LIVING AREA
The living area has parquet floors, French windows onto a sunny balcony and a large L-shaped corner sofa which is perfect for curling up on at the end of a long day. Stretch out and enjoy the 35” TV, wifi and music system with iPhone/USB docking station.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
Sophisticated and fully equipped, with Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, it’s the kind of kitchen that could inspire some great home catering.
Between the living area and the kitchen is a dining table to seat four people, but there is also a small table on the balcony overlooking the church for al fresco dining.
BEDROOMS
The bedrooms are beautifully furnished each with a double bed, one king sized, and both look out over a calm and pretty inner courtyard, giving you a restful night’s sleep. Plus plenty of storage including a large cupboard for storing suitcases.

LOCATION
Just 250 metres from the seafront and the iconic Hotel Negresco, Le Joli is perfectly placed for an early morning stroll or even swim, if you can tear yourself away from the balcony. A 3-minute walk in the opposite direction brings you to Jardin Alsace- Lorraine, a leafy haven where locals watch the world go by, children play in one corner and slender palm trees tower overhead. In addition to the quintessential boulangerie at the end of the road, you have the convenience of being just off one of the main arteries of the city, Bld Gambetta, where there are local shops; from chocolatiers to supermarkets, great local restaurants and buses galore. What’s more, the pedestrianised centre of Nice, spilling over with even more restaurants and shopping opportunities, is a mere ten-minute walk away. It also overlooks the only church in Nice which offers Mass in English, St Pierre d’Arène.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.

She spoke perfect English and took lots of time showing us around. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

The apartment was lovely, impeccably clean and exactly as described. The location is great, close to shops, restaurants and the beach and just a 12minute walk to the old town. The apartment was well equipped with comfy beds, clean and good quality linen. It is superb. Although we did not meet Grace, she was accomodating and very quick to respond. We were let in by the cleaner Elena who was amazing. She spoke perfect English and took lots of time showing us around. When we arrived the toilet and shower was blocked by the previous guests but she work tirelessly to get a plumber to sort it out before our official check-in. This meant an hour delay but was not a problem as we got to drop our bags off. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

The kitchen comes stocked with all the tools needed to cook if you choose to do so and there are several grocery stores within a block. It was wonderful all around! We would definitely stay here again!

A very quick walk to the beach and the nearest supermarket is practically outside the front door so the location was perfect in that respect. The only thing I would say is it’s a bit of a walk to Cours Saleya which is where we liked to spend our evenings, but even so the walk can’t really be complained about because it’s down the promenade which is beautiful. We had everything we needed and the apartment really added to the overall experience of our trip. Highly recommended place to stay when visiting Nice!

The location is perfect – everything is nearby with a number of supermarkets less than a minute away and with very easy access to the beach. Great bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, lovely open living area which is easily big enough for all the family, great kitchen and finally in the beautiful bathroom, a shower which was very popular with everyone of all ages! The apartment could not have been better and I could not recommend it more highly.

I am regularly traveling to Nice and so far opted for Hotels in the same area, central and with the sea at reach. I was very (and pleasantly) surprised to discover that all places next to the Promenade des Anglais do not need to be noisy, or on a maisee more
I am regularly traveling to Nice and so far opted for Hotels in the same area, central and with the sea at reach. I was very (and pleasantly) surprised to discover that all places next to the Promenade des Anglais do not need to be noisy, or on a main street, or far from any supermarkets, or without balcony. Le Joli is first class, located in a quiet one-way street, opposite a church (with apparently no bells ringing – even better) so no problem to stay on the balcony and enjoy a glass of rosé and some delicious olives, baguette or fresh shrimps. All can be bought in one of the 3-4 supermarkets 100m away.The flat has a great feeling, it is decorated with taste and refinement AND is very comfy. I loved the attention to details in every single piece. The bedrooms are at the back and it is very quiet. Le Joli bears well its name !

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.
