The open plan living area has air conditioning and beautiful parquet flooring. There is a 28” Flat Screen TV with English News Channels and a DVD/CD player. The 2 seater sofabed is comfortable and there is also an easy chair.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The kitchen is excellently equipped with a 4 ring electric hob and a combination oven/grill. The kitchen has an integrated fridge-freezer, as well as toaster, kettle and cafetière. The apartment is also equipped with an Iron and Ironing Board and hairdryer.
A homely and comfortable dining table can be found in the living area and has ample space for 2 people to enjoy dinner, lunch or a traditional French breakfast of Croissants and Pain au Chocolat.
BEDROOM
A double bedroom is found at the interior of the building allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep away from the hustle and bustle of the ‘Zone Pietonne’, Nice’s pedestrian area. The bedroom has a south east facing balcony looking out at the gorgeous blue skies that cover the Carre D’or area. There is a large wardrobe in the bedroom and the room is also Air Conditioned.
BATHROOM
This smart and stylish shower room has an enormous mirror and vanity cabinet as well as a spacious shower and toilet.
OUTSIDE SPACE
There is a lovely small balcony with two folding chairs and a small side table to enjoy those relaxing evenings!
LOCATION
Place Massena is surrounded by the main pedestrianised shopping street the 'Zone Pietonne', the main high street of John Medicin and the city centre shopping centre Nice Etoile. There is an abundance of high street stores, the famous department store Galleries Lafayette, small unique boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars. This is an ideal location for those wanting to be right where the action is. A few minutes walk from the Promenade des Anglais and seafront, the gardens of Albert I and the Promenade du Paillon, and a hop and a skip from the Old Town, all of Nice’s attractions are on your doorstep.

Closest parking : park Grimaldi on Rue Maccarani.

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.

I have been to Nice a million times and know the area well. I knew this was in a great location, which it is, and although it’s in the centre of a lively street with restaurants and people walking by all day and night, the apartment was so quiet. Sunsee more

Juliette is a south facing mezzanine apartment with a gem of a balcony. It's flooded with light with some of the best views and ambience in the Old Town. A bottle of wine and a picnic for two on the balcony is a must and if you love people watching then this is the perfect spot for you. The cosy lounge area is flooded in light from the two magnificent double glazed French windows and has plenty of character with original beams and tiled floor. If you’re not too busy sipping wine and watching Niçoise life go by from your balcony then take a moment and relax on the comfy sofa and watch a DVD movie on the LCD TV or read a book from the selection provided. There are also MP3 speakers at your disposal. WiFi.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
Light bright and spacious separate kitchen come dining room with double glazed French doors opening onto the famous balcony! There is a four ring electric hob and oven, microwave, large fridge-freezer, washing machine and the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking equipment and a cafetière.
We know you’ll spend every minute possible on the balcony but, there is also a glass dining table in the kitchen that seats four.
BEDROOMS
The bedroom is on the small open plan mezzanine floor with a double (140x190) luxury Tempur mattress that moulds to the shape of your body and will guarantee you comfort and support all night. (Please note the mattress is on the floor) There is a sliding wardrobe to house your clothes. The mezzanine is reached by a short flight of wooden stairs leading up from the lounge area and is below standing height.

The bathroom has a full bath to relax in, a shower overhead, vanity unit and toilet.

KITCHEN & DINING AREA
Part of an open-plan layout The kitchen and dining area area, seamlessly connecting with the living area to create a spacious and airy atmosphere. Though compact, the kitchen is highly functional, featuring modern brown and white cabinetry paired with sleek white countertops. It comes fully equipped with a Nespresso machine, oven, and electric hob. Adjacent to the kitchen, a two-seater round white dining table offers the perfect spot for breakfast, bathed in natural light streaming through the windows. Please note there is not a washing machine, a close by laundrette is available, Wash and GO on Rue Pl. Vieille.
BEDROOM
Compact with a double bed positioned against a feature wall as the room’s focal point. A wardrobe for ample storage space. Large windows fill the space with natural light and offer views over Place Rosetti, maintaining a modern and airy feel.
BATHROOM
The bathroom is modern, with brown-toned tiles on both the floor and walls. It features a contemporary sink with a matching unit, both adorned with subtle linear patterns that add a playful touch. A separate metal heated towel rail and a rainfall shower complete the space, combining practicality with sleek, modern design.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.
