Two private terrace spaces one leading off from the master bedroom is a square decking area with pastel hued walls against a lovely original stone wall. The second bedroom there is a small bright space with two wrought iron chairs for unwinding in the evening sun.
BEDROOMS
This hillside apartment has two separate bedrooms, one a master (160×200) suite and another unusually shaped room with two single bed (90×200) set into an alcove area. The authentic features of rough, stony columns and white washed ceiling beams are complimented by modern artistic touches, a ceiling fan and a radiator . The second bedroom has a wall mounted fan and a radiator it also has a small open terrace area, perfect for relaxing with a glass of local rosé after a day on the nearby beaches.
BATHROOM
The crisp, clean lines of this newly refurbished bathroom make for a modern bathroom space. There is a large shower area and a separate toilet leading off the main bathroom. The slate tiles of the walls and floors are brightly lit up by minimalist lighting. There’s no window in the principal space but a small window in the toilet room looks out onto the green foliage.

LIVING AREA
The living room, dining area and kitchen are all attached in one long room. A timeless Bordeaux leather sofa and white leather armchair occupy one end of the contemporary open plan space as well as a number of Picasso prints, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi box and in built music system. The connecting mezzanine is lined with bookshelves and there is ample space for storage and a safe and there is air conditioning in the main living area.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fresh and cheerful with all the mod cons you’d need for a relaxing stay at Magnolia. Wooden touches contrasted against the stylish kitchen fittings create a familiar cooking space. From a fridge freezer and induction hob, to a blender and multitude of culinary accessories, Magnolia has everything you’d need to cook up a storm. A small breakfast bar is attached to the main cooking space but there is also an extendable table under an art-deco ceiling lamp.
LOCATION
Set in the heart of the picturesque Old Town, Rue de la Préfecture is the central hub of the old town and from here the famous Cours Saleya marketplace, promenade and beach are only 2 minutes walk away. Around the corner the breathtaking Place de Palais is a wonderful square with an ornate fountain set outside the halls of justice surrounded by fantastic Niçoise restaurants and a weekly market selling books and art.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.

Location was fantastic, literally 2 blocks from the beginning of the Old Town bar and restaurant scene. Unit has AC and was very comfortable. Nice and dark, great to sleep in. Internet and TV worked great. Internet also worked nicely. Would recommend! Thank you!

The apartment is a bit dim, therefore, but there are lamps :)) Very friendly welcome and super-generous interpretation of the check-out time. They gave us some pastries, bottle of wine and some tomato pesto as original equipment, plus tea, coffee and sugar were there. Very nice. There were two good towels per bed. Location awesome: historical city center close to the Schlossberg (a few steps you have to go already high), but very quiet because at the end of a dead end into which lost out only a few tourists. About the end of the road but there is a school, and during the long break since, of course, not only whispered. One is fast at the beach and even faster in the old town.

The road up to the apartment is quite steep, with built in steps, and would not suit the less able. Still, the apartment was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed.

Great apartment in the old town, very close to the shops, bars and restaurants but at the end of a quiet street so no noise at night. The apartment was full of everything that you might need and a nice little patio area. The welcome was very friendly and informative. Allowing us to drop our bags early was a great help also. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Great apt tucked away in Old Nice. Lots of action just down the alley but quiet apartment. Comfortable beds and the rooms are easily darkened for sleeping. Lovely stay and we would definitely return.

LOCATION
Carré D’or is a vibrant area of Nice which is in part pedestrianised. Close to the central city and the numerous shops on avenue Jean Medecin but only a short walk to the beach, Marechal Joffre is a highly sought after street containing many boutiques and designer shops. There are many exclusive restaurants, brasseries and cafes in the Carre D’or area making this one of the most popular quartiers amongst YNA guests. The maze of narrow streets know as the Old Town which contains many restaurants bars and shops is only a 5 minute walk away.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.
