Everything about this place is better than advertised! It’s very hard to find a Nice apartment in our price point that hasn’t been chopped up with loft space to try to cram more beds in. The family who owns the apartment also use it themselves so it is in pristine condition. Each day after touring around we felt very much like coming home where comfort and cleanliness awaited us. The price was a little above the budget for us 3 ladies but understandably worth it. One very big plus (among many) is the location directly across the street from the number 2 tram station that took us to Old Town east and the airport and Parc Phoenix to the west. Grocery was only a block and a half away. Beach 5 minute walk. Train station only 15 minute walk or take the T2 tram one stop then switch to the T1 going north and ride one stop

Just returned from a wonderful week in Nice. This apartment is a real home from home. We were with a young child so hotels aren’t suitable for us as we need somewhere comfortable we can relax when our daughter goes to bed early evening. This apartment really was perfect. Plenty of space, comfortable and relaxing. Really easy to find. We caught the bus from the Airport which took us to within a short walk from the apartment. All the amenities you need are within very easy reach. Casino supermarket is a few steps away, lovely bakery right on the doorstep selling freshly baked pastries. Perfect way to wake up. We caught the train to Cannes and Monaco during our stay and the station is a short, very easy 15 minute walk. We did all this with a 2 year old and my wife is also 6 months pregnant which I think shows how easy everything is to find and navigate. Hosts were excellent. We originally booked for August but then wanted to bring the holiday forward by about 8 weeks after booking. This was no problem for Laura at all and the dates were amended immediately with no hassle or concern. We also landed quite early and arrived in Nice at 10:30. We asked Delia about an early arrival and she arranged for us to check in at 12:00 instead of 15:00. This made a huge difference for us having been up since 01:00! Delia met us outside the apartment block, took us up and gave us the quick tour and a few pointers then left us to it. Perfect. We didn’t have any problems during our stay but I have no doubt if we did, they would have been rectified as quickly as possible. Quick note, we got the 98 bus from the airport which was 6 euros each for a single. After spending the week there and getting to know our surroundings and travelling a bit we realised on the return journey there were a whole host of other buses which drop you very close to the airport for a fraction of the cost, 1.50 euro for a single, if you are comfortable and confident enough for a short walk navigating some paths around the airport. We would highly recommend this apartment and these hosts.

Great appartement close to everything you need and the prefect place to get ingrained in the local culture. It really felt as close to a home on the French Riviera as it can feel without actually being an owner. Steps away from the beach and the Promenade des Anglais, grocery shopping and great croissants. A few great take-outs close by also (the Indian place down the street to the beach is awesome). A 15-minute walk to the train station. A 15-minute walk to boutiques, restaurants and the lively Place Masséna. A few minutes further and you’re at the heart of the old city. If you rent a car, there’s a parking garage right around the corner. The apartment is in a great spot to explore the Riviera in all directions. It’s also an easy 15-minute drive from the airport (you could even walk if you feel like a bit of exercise). Even better, it’s well-appointed, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We were 5 and had plenty of room and privacy. With the view of the city and the mountains of the arrière-pays from the dinning table, it’s also one of the best terrasses in the city. Booking was easy. Communications were precise, cordial and efficient. Great experience all-around.

Beautiful apartment, perfect for our group of 3 adults and 1 toddler. The bedrooms are comfortable and each with an en suit which made our stay very easy for our group – everyone had space to relax. The kitchen/living room is a great area for eating and relaxing, with lots of facilities for cooking your own meals. The orange press was a great treat to use with oranges from the market just downstairs. Very close to the beach and a short walk to the centre of town. Thank you for the stay!”

The Old Town is the historical and geographical centre of Nice and so Françoise is perfectly placed to access all areas of the city. Flanked on one side by the Promenade du Paillon, a beautiful park of fountains, greenery and a magnificent children’s play area, and the Colline du Chateau on the other, the Vieille Ville is also a stone’s throw from the beach and so really is a wonderful location. The colourful blend of yellows, ochres and terracotta gives the perfect holiday feel as you stroll around the narrow streets soaking up the atmosphere. It is home to small boutiques, a plethora of restaurants, cafes, bars and galleries; a veritable treasure trove of sights and sounds just waiting to be discovered.
