LIVING AREA
The open plan living area combines modern furnishings with traditional features with integrated air conditioning. Wooden floors and old timber beams are given a modern edge with grey, chrome and rattan in contemporary styled furniture and fittings. There is a sofabed for two, a single rattan chair and coffee table. If you need entertaining then there is a 19″ flat screen tv with French and English news channels, video, WIFI and Ipod docking station. The living area leads out to the balcony and the most magnificent views of the Old Town. There are double glazed French doors to keep out any noise from the street below.
KITCHEN &DINING AREA
The open plan modern cream kitchen area has a large fridge-freezer, washing machine, four ring hob , microwave and dishwasher. It is fully equipped with a kettle, cafetière and a large selection of cooking equipment.
There is a bistro bar table and two comfortable swivel chairs in the living area.
BEDROOM
The bedroom is situated at the quite rear of the apartment and although does not have exterior windows there is a glass brick wall letting in the light. There is a double bed (140×190) with two rattan side tables and bedside lamps. The room benefits from integrated air conditioning. A hidden wardrobe is housed in the living area.
(If you wish to use the extra sleeping space provided, then the sofa-bed in the living room sleeps two. Please note, there is an additional cost for sofa-bed linen and towels which can be purchased when you book this property)
BATHROOM
The contemporary bathroom is a striking mix of chrome, frosted glass and hues of grey tiling. There is a large corner shower cubicle, vanity sink unit and toilet. The washing machine is also house in the bathroom.
OUTSIDE SPACE
One of the most romantic balconies for two with the ambience of rooftops, glittering cathedral and french life buzzing below you.
LOCATION
Set in the heart of the Nice’s picturesque Old Town, with bustling streets packed with pasta vendors, bistros, boutique shops and wine bars. You’re just around the corner from the best wine cave in the Old Town and the Cours Saleya marketplace selling fresh local produce, flowers and antiques is a couple of minutes stroll away. The promenade and beach is only a touch further. Around the corner the breathtaking Place du Palais is a wonderful square with an ornate fountain set outside the Palais de Justice and is surrounded by Niçoise restaurants and a weekly market selling books and art.

Closest parking: Parking Vincu Saleya – Marche Aux Fleurs Cours Saleya.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.

The adjacent church and market square create an atmosphere but did not take a night’s sleep thanks to the thick balcony doors. Efficient air conditioning on summer waves was a big plus. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. I highly recommend!

Fantastic location, lovely apartment with everything you need. We go to Nice at least a couple of times a year, and this was our favourite apartment so far in terms of location. It was right in the middle of Old Town overlooking Place Rosetti, but just a stone’s throw away from the sea. The windows were really soundproofed so we slept really well. We didn’t need the air con but we tested it and it was quiet and worked well. Everything was clean and the dishwasher worked well (didn’t use the washing machine). The usual welcome pack was also appreciated! The bed is a double, not king or queen sized; but if one of you snores the sofa also acts as a sofa bed … The wifi worked perfectly.

I didn’t know what to expect when I visited Nice and I immediately fell under it’s charm. The apartment we had chosen for our short romantic getaway was absolutely perfect. To sit on the balcony in the evening, with our glass of wine and watch the world go by was sheer heaven. Although the apartment was on the 5th floor which would be quite difficult for the less mobile, we only ventured down in the morning and up again after dinner. The bedroom was at the back so when we retired to bed we were not disturbed by the hub-bub from the streets below, Place Rossetti was quite lively at times. The apartment manager was very helpful and informative and I will definitely be coming back to Nice in the near future. Thank you Your Nice Apartment.

Just back from a week stay at the apartment and thought it would be good to write up a short review for anyone thinking about booking. If you are considered a stay here then its a fantastic apartment which my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in – Highly recommended! The pros… Superb communication throughout the booking period making it very clear what was required from my end and info around where to meet host etc. The check in itself was first class – host was there to welcome us on arrival and spent some time talking up through all the amenities and also giving some great advice on suggestions for restaurants, day trips and advice on getting around on public transport. There was also welcome basket including bottle of wine which was a nice touch after a long day of travelling. The apartment had all we needed and was well equipped with cooking facilities, nice warm and easy to use shower and comfortable bed. Location – Definitely the star feature of this property, overlooking Place Rossetti which is absolutely stunning and the balcony provided a unique opportunity to sample all the atmosphere and ambiance from the comfort of the apartment! The cons… The apartment is on the 5th floor which might not be suitable for people with any mobility issues – It did take a while to recover from carrying 2 suitcases up 10 flights of stairs! To get the best view in Nice though you do have to climb higher! Noise – We did have a bit of noise coming from the square below at the weekend, there are shutter doors which you can use to reduce the noise – A small price to pay for the amazing location which is a tourist hot-spot. TV – Its a very small TV although to be honest, with a view like the one from the balcony we only switched the TV on once! Overall its a superb apartment right in the middle of one of the most stunning areas in Nice – If you are looking for a clean, comfortable apartment with amazing views which truly capture the vibe of Nice then this is definitely for you!

We relied on Uber a lot, which were readily available. Nice is a great home base as you explore nearby towns like Monaco or Antibes. We Loved the charm and the balcony is the real selling feature. Also, my husband and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches and check-in process. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay in this lovely apartment in the heart of Place Rossetti! We booked for the beautiful view from the balcony and we were not disappointed – we sat an enjoyed people-watching on a nightly basis; it was truly the best part of this place. However, the rest of the apartment/stay was also outstanding – a fully functional kitchen (we made use of this to cook some fresh food bought in local markets), a cozy bedroom, glorious AC for the hot and humid days, excellent communication with our host Gosia (thank you for all the recommendations and advice!), and a spacious bathroom with laundry facilities. We were especially pleased with the welcome gift of wine and snacks, as well as ground coffee for the mornings. The only people I would not recommend this place for would be those with moderate-severe mobility issues as it is a 5-story climb each day, which may be particularly challenging on the first and last day with your luggage, though in general we did not find this to be a problem in any way (and even if you are out of breath and hot, you forget in 5 minutes with the amazing view). We would definitely stay here again when we are back in Nice!

What a fantastic few days we’ve had and what a brilliant apartment. Perfect location and we could really relax as it was a home from home.

If you book this apartment you will have endless possibilities of restaurants, shopping or just the pleasure to sit out on the terrace with a bottle of wine. As for the apartment itself, it is cozy with very well equipped appliances. For anyone deciding on whether or not to book it, book it! You will have a vacation of a lifetime ??

This location is amazing!! We loved sitting on the balcony watching all the people in the square, watching the pigeons fly by, hearing the church bells ring. It was truly magical and we would stay here again in a heart beat!

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses.
Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur.
Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port.
Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre.
Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Please be aware that at the airport the ticket machines only allow you to buy round trip tickets for 10€. To buy regular tickets (1.70€) you have to take the tramway from the airport to the next stop (grand Arenas) for free, get off the tram, buy the tickets (a card you can top up) at the machine and get on the next tram (be prepared for a line of people trying to understand how it works and up to 30 minutes waiting time). The best option is to download the app Ligne d'Azur buy tickets online and store them on your phone.
